Overton Insights is a Crown-funded data aggregation department. They calculate, compile, and publicly distribute information such as organization relations, political trends and polling, and stock prices. It is one of the few government-funded organizations that is considered non-partisan, as the data involved is so useful to the Crown that they generally refrain from risking bias being introduced.

Overton broadcasts all of its data in a custom unencrypted serial matrix format. The format specifications are publicly available, and a variety of devices are developed by unaffiliated groups to receive and display the information. These may be standalone, such as in stock exchange displays, or integrated, such as in personal HUD goggles.
