King's line is the longest and oldest rail line in Ivykeep. It traverses from Morgenstern in the west to Castle Bravo in the east.

The line was formerly owned fully by the Crown, but in an extremely controversial move everything west of Crossroads was purchased by BlackTie and converted to luxury continuous-welded rail line. This was popular with wealthy residents of Crystal Cove, who the line now catered to. As government use was not impacted per the purchase agreement and Verdantics saw it as a way to reduce rail impact on Verdantia's flora, the conversion faced little legislative opposition despite the enormous impact of the change on residents. The loss of affordable rail travel forced residents to travel on foot via Route 88, or travel by boat.
