Zero-Q Zones, often denoted by the acronym ZQZ, are areas with low or nonexistent localized Quinta levels. Some of these occur naturally, and some are produced artificially by groups such as Liquidators. ZQZs are generally fatal to those without proper equipment, as the lack of quinta causes severe neurological dysfunction.
