Black Dawn is a highly psychoactive substance produced from [[blackstool|Blackstool]] mushrooms. Black Dawn's effects include hallucinations, strange visual phenomena, and an increased sense of power or durability. Many users claim that the drug is capable of manipulating or effecting time itself, and while unverified, the potential for users to gain some level control over the flow of time led the drug to be entirely outlawed outside of the [[King of Ivykeep|King's]] close circle. While the drug is not particularly harmful in small doses, it is highly addictive and lifelong addicts often experience steep mental decline.
